Pumpkin Carving

On Monday we carved a pumpkin as a family. Not really my favorite thing to do but the girls love it. Kamden actually stuck her hands in the pumpkin this year to get the "squishy seeds" as she calls it. I was surprised because she does not like to get her hands dirty at all. I wasn't sure how Aspen would be with it, since last year she was pretty tiny. Well she loved it. Although every handful she pulled out she put in her mouth thinking she wanted to eat it!
As you can see they love their creation. Kamden made a mean face and kept telling Brock and I exactly how to carve the pumpkin all the while she is still making the mean face up until the pumpkin got finished. She is pretty proud of the outcome!

Great Pumpkin!! Tell Kamden her mean face was perfect. I wish you got a picture of Aspen's face when she was eating the pumpkin guts. Because you know those guts look so appetizing!! Ainlsey loved squishing the guts between her fingers. That's all she did all night.

Nice pumpkin carving you guys!
But I'm not sure who looks scarier in the photo>>>Kamden or the scary pumpkin

WHat a mean face your pumpkin has Kamden, you did a great job showing your daddy what to carve! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun carving Mr. Scary Face Pumpkin.

Brielle, are you happy now that dad commented on yours?? :o)

Family fall pumpkin carving was a favorite at our house too! And so far the tradition is being passed down by 3 out of 5. Scary pumpkin, cute kids.
