Cash...

Here are a few more pictures of Cash. He is five days old now and continues to change everyday. These aren't the best pictures so I will have to get some better ones in the next few days. I like this first one of Daddy and Cash looking at each other.
Aspen loves to hold Cash. (you will have to excuse Aspens hair as you can see her mom has been out of commission) The girls have only been around him for a couple days and then they went home with Brocks mom for a couple days. It has been really nice and relaxing to just have the baby to focus on. The girls are coming home the same time my parents are flying in. The girls have been great so far with their new brother. But at the same time they have had people here to distract them. I think Kamden will do fine it is Aspens adjustment that I worry about. The true test will be in 2 weeks after my mom leaves and it is just the 3 kids and I. Kamden is a great big sister she is very protective of any one near the baby. She just wants to make sure people are being so soft with him. She is such a huge helper to me. The day I got home from the hospital she would see that I was about to bend down to pick something up and she would say "mom don't bend down that will hurt you, I will get it." Man I love that girl, she is so thoughtful. Aspen on the other hand wants to hold Cash all the time. When we make her sit down to hold him she gets a little upset and said "I Want To Carry My Brother" I told her she needs to let him get a little older before that can happen.
Here is another picture of Cash. He was one day old here. Look at Brocks hand size compared to his head. You really forget how tiny they are. So far he has been a good baby(during the day). Nights are a little rough, I am just taking it day by day hoping each night will get a little better. We are excited to see his little personality develop. I will keep you all updated frequently since they change so fast.

We Got Our Boy!

Last picture of me before I went in.
Cash Brock Peterson has arrived! He was born July 24th at 4:21pm. He was 7lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long. He was born 8 days early which I was very happy about. So far everything is looking great. He seems to be a healthy boy which couldn't make me happier.
I just love his hair. I will post more pictures another time but I had to get a couple on here so you all can see what Cash looks like. Isn't he so sweet?

A Little Confused!

Aspen is such a funny girl. It is finally really warm here in McCall and Aspen is pulling out here winter gear. I find it strange because in the winter I have to fight her to put on her snow boots and her winter coat. Now she puts it on herself and wants to wear it to the park and church ect. I do let it go in the house but I feel so bad because she just drips sweat. I have just decided to just let it go and have her be happy. I didn't get any pictures of her with the whole get up but I got a couple with parts of the winter wardrobe. Here I asked Aspen to got pick her sunday dress and start getting ready. Well she comes and finds me like this and said "I ready Mommy"Here she is in her winter coat in 85 degree weather. What ever works as long as she is happy and not passing out from heat exhaustion! :)

We are truly thankful for the country we live in and are very thankful for all of the people that have fought and gave up their lives for our freedom. We Love the USA!!

Love the Beach!

Going to the Lake here in McCall is my favorite thing to do. I am so glad we are finally enjoying a beautiful summer here. The perfect summers are truly what gets me through the long winters we have. Usually each summer we are at the lake almost everyday of the week. Since I am very pregnant and don't have the energy I usually do we have cut that down a little, but still try to go 2-3 times a week. My girls just love it. The water is still very cold but it sure doesn't stop the kids from swimming. When Brocks family was visiting a couple weeks ago we all went to the beach. Below are a few pictures of them playing with Grammy. Kamden, Deagon, Aspen and Grammy. Kamdens new favorite thing is to jump off the dock. She never gets tired, and she is getting braver each time going a little deeper.I love that little girls bum. I can't help but always look at her bum when she is wearing her "swimming soup" as she calls it. Aspen and Nanny (Aspens great grandma). I was so mad I didn't have my camera earlier because Nanny was talking to Aspen as they were walking to the car and Aspen was just studying her so seriously. She was looking so closely at her hand and followed it up her arm all the way to her face. It was so precious. She just loved Nanny. I couldn't find her one day when they were visiting and then I found Aspen laying on the bed with Nanny just talking away. Such sweet memories!
