Happy Birthday!

HAPPY 28th BIRTHDAY BROCK. It was a good day but nothing special. I get feeling kind of bad that we don't do more fun things for each other for our birthdays but then my girls make me feel better. It is the best just to watch their excitment as we decorated with balloons, made his cake and rapped presents. Kamden even said "Mommy this is such a fun day because we are having daddys party" I love that it doesn't take much more than the thought of a birthday and the girls think it is the best thing in the world. This is Brocks request every year for his cake. As you can see with that smile he was pretty excited for his Better than Almost Anything Cake! The girls kind of took over in the blowing department, but Brock was really careful to watch where their spit flew and those were the pieces of cake they got to eat. :)

There's nothing like the excitement of children. Enjoy it while it lasts! And Brielle, thank you so much for including the name of the cake - now I have Chase asking me - "what's that supposed to mean!" Oh and Happy Birthday Brock! I hope all your dreams came true!

Sorry everyone, I have now changed the name to the cake. I am just so used to calling it that but I didn't mean to cause for more discussions at home. And Dad I have not said the title in front of my daughters, yet. :) Michele the cake is so yummy, it is german choc. cake and then you poke holes all over it. Then you add sweetened condensed milk and carmel that you pour over it. You stick it in the frig and then add your cool whip and heath bar on top.

yum, i'm sad to have missed eating the controversial cake. :o) Happy Birthday Brock!!! Those girls are too cute and I love their excitement. They sure made Emma's b-day when they sang to her... thanks for doing it twice :o) I'll send you the video of Emma listening so the girls can see her reaction.

Birthdays are so fun for children they just love them. Even if we could care less they would be so disappointed if we didn't celebrate them. But it is always nice to be remembered, which I'm sure is the way Brock felt. Happy Birthday Brock. Love you guys.

I love it, Brielle. We try to keep birthdays really simple around our house, too. Birthdays are all about family, anyway. What a nice Dad... to let his little princesses blow out the candles. Happy Birthday, Brock! Who knew you were SO OLD! Ha!

You guys are so fun. I am glad that he chose that cake! It's sounds really good right now. It is amazing how kids make things more fun! Maybe we should learn something from that and be more excited all the time especially over the basic things, like you! Your girls are so cute and you will have a cute little boy to add to it!
