Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins the other night and this is how they came out.....The girls and I looked on the internet for some ideas but I had to keep reminding them that Daddy and I are not as good as Papaw when it comes to carving pumpkins. So once we narrowed it down from advanced carving to beginner carving we were all set. Aspen picked a surprised face, Kamden picked 3 bats, and they even picked a face for Cash. In the picture below you can see Kamdens bats a little better!

Great pictures of the kids with the pumpkins! I love how Cash is just hanging out next to his. hah. I think that you all did an amazing job carving them. We got little pumpkins so we wouldn't have to carve them. I figure we can wait until Quinn is 3 :)

we still haven't bought pumpkins...bad mommy. But you, you are a good mommy...and daddy for that fact. I hate carving pumpkins and that is why I avoid the pumpkin patch. {We are going tomorrow...so you don't need to sigh and feel sorry for my kiddos!}

Wow, you are totally ambitious. Last year we carved pumpkins with the kids. This year, well not sure our budget allowed for pumpkins. So, the kids really liked seeing yours. They are cute. Go, you!

Carving pumpkins is so much fun. I love how you can just print a picture from the internet for the pumpkins. Last year I bought a book but the internets a lot easier! It looks like you had fun carving them. I'll have to post our pumpkin pictures on my blog for you to see. :)

We carved the other night as well. One more thing I have to post. Your pumpkins are HUGE. Ours were rather small. I love the different designs. Carving pumpkins is one of my kids favorite activities of the year. The kids favorite part about carving this year was pretending to barf up the guts.
