Today has been a good day, the kids have had lots of fun decorating, making cards and wrapping gifts. He picked salmon for dinner, so you can't go wrong with that for our family, that is a favorite. His also picked his usual cake which is a favorite too (Better than almost anything cake). I have to share a funny story, A friend brought over a little bundle of hay for Brock with a note for his birthday. Many of you might be wondering why hay? Well a long time ago I said a big turn on of mine was, when Brock and I were just dating I would go to his parents farm in Rupert and he would be working. He would come up to greet me and he was always so dirty and had hay in his hair. I LOVED it, it showed me hard work and toughness. Well, when I told my friends that they thought it was pretty funny that I thought he looked hot with hay in his hair. (Really I think our friend wished his wife would feel the same way about him with hay chunks in his hair :) ) So need less to say that was his gift this year! He called it Brock's mistletoe! Happy Birthday Brock, We love you. ( I better stop blogging now because I see him pulling out the hay!!!!)

Happy Birthday Brock! Brielle, this is so funny about the hay in the hair thing. I feel the same way when Dan has been working in our yard. Something about hard work and being messy is Dan's mistletoe!
Anyway, nice to see an update on here. Aspen is starting to look so grown up! In the family picture, I had to take a double take on Aspen... has she changed that much or does she just look older in that one picture?

Love the hay story....funny thing...I fell for his dad after going to watch him haul hay as a teen ager!! There is no better way to see a mans muscles than watching them move hay bails! I drove his rig that day and had white shorts on. The butt of them turned green from the hay and Barry has brought it up many times over the years that he liked that too!
