Valley County Rodeo

In August we went to our Valley County Rodeo and Fair. I feel that summer is not complete without a fair or Rodeo. That feeling has come since I have been married to Brock. I never really went to Rodeo's before but now I am a big fan! Brock says that next year he is entering the Bull Riding competition. Not sure how I feel about this! It is so hard for him to watch and not ride. He misses it lots. But after the Rodeo was over we hung with our friends at the dance and then there was a mechanical Bull riding competition. Brock ran the mechanical bull last year at the fair and so this year he got our friends bull in for them to run. So he paid his entry and competed, I have to say he was by far the best. He still has it, very nice form! But I guess there was a tie for 1st place so they were going to re-ride for 1st and the guy saw Brock's name and said you are part owner of this bull(which we have nothing to do with) you can't win. I was pretty mad, we didn't even get our entry fee back. Now we know, but I am still not happy. Besides the bummer at the end of the night. We all had a great time! Kamden with one of her favorite babysitters ever, she is home from school until Jan. Kamden is going to so sad to have her leave again! Aspen being a model in Brittney's sunglasses! Just a picture of my very cute boy, who I have to say loves to watch bull riding as well. I am a little nervous if he decides he wants to ride like his daddy did! This is my good friend Eva and her little girl Aniston. They moved to McCall from Boise in Febuary and moved back to Boise in August. I am sad, we miss there family lots. Luckily they don't live too far!

Yellow Pine

The end of July Brock took his annual yellow pine fishing trip. This time it was Daddy Daughter overnight. He took both the girls and his friend Tony took his daughter Kaitlyn which turned out to be Brock's lifesaver. Cash and I stayed home, the reason for this was because I am not a big fan of camping with a baby. But the girls had such a good time. Brock was so thankful to Kaitlyn for being there because she was the one that helped Aspen go to the bathroom, entertain her etc. Tony, Kaitlyn, Brock and Kamden fishing; Aspen took the picture! This picture is the best. Brock was trying to hold the fish for Tony to take the picture and then Kaitlyn said I want in and jumped over and the fish got of Brock's hands. I love the girls faces! Wonderful memories made that weekend!

T-Ball

Okay, Okay I know I am such a slacker so I am going to try and catch everyone up on our lives. I have a lot to catch up but I will do what I can. :) This summer Kamden played T-Ball for the first time and LOVED it. She says that is her favorite sport now. I was worried she would be to shy to play so I signed Brock up to be the coach. I was a little worried about that too because everyone that knows him, knows he is extremely competitive. I have to say I am so proud of him. He had to bite his lip a few times but he did great. We were kind of bummed because there was really no structure to the T-Ball league at all but the kids still enjoyed themselves. Kamden improved lots, thank goodness! A big thing we had to work on was her running with the helmet on. I wish I would have gotten some video of that. Man did she ever run like a girl while having 2 hands on her helmet so it wouldn't move around while running. She says she definitely wants to play next year but as far as Brock being coach, I am not so sure. :) Kamden getting down to business, running hard. Brock with most of his team!

My Not So Little Man....

Here are a couple of pictures of Cash. I didn't end up taking that many because I think I ended up getting more video of him. We had a pretty good day. He loved his presents, he really loved the cupcakes and then we went swimming and he loved that too. The only down fall is his molars are all coming in at once. The dude has some very swollen gums. But he didn't let that stop him from having a good Birthday Party. The side view of his new haircut!

Happy 1st Birthday Cash!!!

Today Cash turns 1 year old. I can't believe how fast it has gone. I would be posting pictures but my husband has the camera so I can't download the new ones I have taken of Cash. We are going to celebrate his birthday tomorrow because Brock took the girls camping and fishing in YellowPine. (This is the first time he has taken them over night somewhere on his own. I hope it is going well so that he will offer again. :)) It has been nice having some one on one with Cash. He really is such a happy baby. Although, he got a haircut yesterday and I have to say he looks more like a boy now. Some of Cash's favorite things include: animals, especially cows, horses, and dogs, playing with balls, banging things to make loud noises, eating and dancing to music. It is fun to see his personality come out more and more each day.

He has been my slowest hitting the different milestones so far. Some people say it is just because he is a boy. My doctor is getting worried because Cash still doesn't move, so she wants him to be doing physical therapy. I just started the process of getting that going and all of the sudden HE STARTED TO CRAWL TODAY!!! In a way I have really been enjoying him just sitting in one place. But at the same time, didn't want my kid to be way behind. I guess he is just taking his time and that's okay with me. :) His crawl isn't normal he almost looks a little special. He crawls with his 2 hands and one foot while dragging his other leg as he moves. (I guess that is what I get for trying to embarrass my mom when I was in high school by dragging my foot when I walked!) I will post more on my little man after his party tomorrow. But just want him to know when he reads this some day, how much I love him and love to squish is big chunky body, and make him laugh. He brings me so much happiness and just reminds me that I never could have imagined that I could love anyone as much as I love my kids!

PURE VINTAGE

So this is why I have been so busy lately. I have started a new little business. Not a huge money maker but more for fun. I owe it all to a really good friend who has helped me through this and given me A LOT of ideas. I make vintage button rings. I have had one ring party and one booth set up so far. The rest has been just word of mouth and people stopping by to look at my rings. I have a few stores here in McCall that have also said they would put my rings in there store. I am really excited. Over the 4th I set up a booth in downtown McCall and hoped to do a little better than I did but I still made some money and got my name out there so that was good. Here are some pictures of my rings. Here is what my business card looks like. Me at my booth My friend took all of these pictures. I of course forgot my camera. They looked a little cluttered from people looking at them and placing them back down. So sorry I didn't make them nice and neat before the picture, but you get the idea of what they look like. These are my flower topped button rings. More rings My medal topped rings. Hope you all like what you see. Let me know what you think. And if any of you are interested you know who to get a hold of!! :)

Preschool Graduation

No Kamden is not graduating preschool in July, she graduated in the end of May like most kids. It is just her mother who is a little behind. For all of you that were wondering I am still alive and breathing. I just feel like I have been so busy this summer. Back to Kamden. She had a great preschool graduation. They did a couple of dances, a puppet show, and signed a whole song. Which I have to say was very touching. I loved watching her sign, she did it so gracefully. She is so ready for kindergarten.
Good thing she wore leggings underneath that dress!

One chubby, happy, boy!!!

Kamden got all dressed up and her hair done, so Aspen had to do the same! Aspen loves to be like her big sister. Kamden and her teacher Ms. Jeanie. She just loved this lady.
Kamden loved having her cousins, aunt and grammy come.

Mommy and Kamden, don't you love her 2 front teeth missing!
